We
are pledged to the letter and spirit of United States policy for the
achievement of equal housing opportunity. We encourage and support an
affirmative advertising and marketing program in which that are no barriers
to obtaining housing because of race, religion, national origin, sex,
handicap, or familial status.

Records
indicate that every session of both the General Court and the Court of
Chancery from the mid-1690s through March of 1716 were held at the private
homes of Diana Foster, Thomas Nichols, John Godfrey, John Heckelfield and
Richard Sanderson. This was changed when the seat of government was moved
to
Queen Anne's Creek (Edenton) in Chowan Precinct.
